Role Overview As our SEO Account Manager, you’ll be the strategic lead and trusted point of contact for a portfolio of SEO clients. You’ll combine deep SEO expertise with excellent client management skills to design, execute, and optimise campaigns that boost organic visibility, drive qualified traffic, and support long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities Client Leadership & Strategy
Serve as the main client contact for all SEO-related communication, strategy and reporting.
Understand client business goals and translate them into tailored SEO strategies and KPIs.
Lead discovery conversations and ongoing strategy reviews to keep clients aligned with performance and opportunities.
Advise clients on SEO priorities including keyword focus, content optimisation, technical improvements, and link building.
SEO Campaign Planning & Execution
Develop and deliver comprehensive SEO plans covering on-page, off-page, technical, local and content strategy elements.
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless execution.
Conduct regular site audits, competitor analysis and keyword research using industry-standard tools.
Monitor campaign health and proactively adjust tactics to improve outcomes.
Reporting & Insight
Prepare and present insightful SEO performance reports that highlight progress on rankings, organic traffic, conversions and strategic recommendations.
Translate complex SEO data into clear, actionable client recommendations and next steps.
Stay ahead of industry algorithm changes, emerging tools, and best practices - and communicate implications to both internal teams and clients.
Account Growth & Retention
Nurture strong client relationships built on transparency, expertise and shared success.
Identify opportunities to grow account scope with relevant services
Support pitch and proposal development for renewals and expansion.
Skills & Qualifications
2+ years agency SEO experience with demonstrable results managing client SEO campaigns.
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page and technical SEO fundamentals.
Experience with SEO platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - including presenting insights to clients.
Ability to manage multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced agency setting.
Must be a UK resident or work permit holder;
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and web CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
Google Analytics / other relevant certifications.
Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio
