Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote dignity and independence.
- Monitor residents' vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, documenting changes accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, employing behavior management techniques to ensure safety and comfort.
- Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration meticulously.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties within resident rooms and common areas.
- Support residents during outings or community activities by providing transportation if qualified to drive.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and family members to develop personalized care plans that meet each resident's unique needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred but not necessary.
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as medication administration or EMR systems are a plus. Will provide medication training.
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with complex health needs in a caring, respectful manner.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members, residents, and families.
- Valid driver's license preferred for roles involving transportation duties.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
