Position Overview:

Lead Tenetic's cloud infrastructure strategy, architecture, and implementation on AWS, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable systems. Own DevOps and platform engineering, including IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence. Drive cloud security, IAM, and compliance (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR) while providing senior technical leadership across engineering, data, and product teams and shaping the future infrastructure organization as Tenetic grows.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Architecture

• Own infrastructure strategy and implementation across AWS and on-prem environments.
• Design scalable, reliable, and secure systems aligned with business and engineering needs.
• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code development using Terraform and modern automation practices.

DevOps & Platform Engineering

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Implement automation for provisioning, operations, and monitoring.
• Establish DevOps standards, environments, and tooling.

Security & Compliance

• Lead IAM design, cloud security, and infrastructure hardening.
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to support SOC2, GDPR, and related compliance requirements.
• Ensure secure-by-default practices across infrastructure and operations.

Operations & Reliability

• Ensure system reliability, performance, and uptime across hybrid environments.
• Oversee monitoring, logging, incident response, and lifecycle management.
• Support internal IT operations, identity systems, and baseline configuration standards.

Cross-Functional Technical Leadership

• Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams on platform architecture and operational needs.
• Provide senior-level technical guidance across infrastructure, DevOps, and security domains.
• Contribute to long-term planning and future team structure as Tenetic grows.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security engineering, with strong AWS depth.
• Proficient in Terraform (modular IaC, automation, environment management).
• Strong CI/CD experience (GitHub preferred) with modern deployment strategies.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Deep understanding of IAM, cloud security, hardening, and access governance.
• Familiarity with SOC2/GDPR and implementing compliance controls.
• Experience designing for reliability (SLOs/SLIs, incident response).
• Solid observability experience (logs, metrics, tracing).
• Strong scripting/programming ability (Python, Go, or similar).
• Proven architectural leadership and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Experience operating in hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem).
• AWS certifications are a plus.
