The South Branch Valley Day Report Center (SBVDRC) is seeking a dedicated and motivated Juvenile Services Case Manager to support justice-involved and at-risk youth and their families through evidence-based, community-based services. This position plays a critical role in coordinating services, facilitating groups, monitoring compliance, and supporting positive behavioral change for juveniles involved with the court system, child welfare, or other referral sources.

Due to school schedules and family availability, this position requires flexibility, including afternoon, evening, and occasional weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide case management services to juvenile participants involved in community corrections, diversion, prevention, or court-ordered programming
  • Conduct intakes, assessments, and ongoing case planning in collaboration with youth, families, and referral agencies
  • Develop individualized service plans focused on accountability, skill-building, education, and prosocial development
  • Facilitate juvenile-focused group programming, including life skills, substance use education, anger management, decision-making, and other evidence-based or structured curricula
  • Prepare for, lead, and document group sessions in accordance with program standards and referral requirements
  • Coordinate and monitor participation in individual and group programming
  • Maintain regular contact with juveniles and caregivers through in-person, virtual, school-based, and community-based meetings
  • Document case activity, group participation, progress, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
  • Prepare written reports and updates for courts, probation, child welfare, and other stakeholders as required
  • Collaborate with schools, behavioral health providers, juvenile probation, law enforcement, and community partners
  • Support compliance monitoring, attendance tracking, and follow-up as required by referral sources
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and staff trainings
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all agency, state, and federal requirements

Work Schedule

  • Full-time (35.5 hours per week)
  • Afternoons, evenings, and some weekend hours required to accommodate juvenile and family availability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience facilitating groups with youth or working in juvenile justice, education, or behavioral health settings preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to engage youth in group settings and manage group dynamics effectively
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable working in community-based and non-traditional settings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass required background checks
