Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Onboarding Coordinator to lead our talent acquisition and new hire integration processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in HR sourcing, recruitment, and employee relations, with a focus on creating seamless onboarding experiences. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with HRIS systems such as Workday, UltiPro, and PeopleSoft, and familiarity with applicant tracking systems like iCIMS and ATS platforms. The Onboarding Manager will play a pivotal role in attracting top talent through effective lead generation, cold calling, and research while ensuring compliance with company policies and fostering positive employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Utilize HRIS systems (Workday, UltiPro, PeopleSoft) to maintain accurate employee records and streamline onboarding workflows.
- Source candidates through HR sourcing techniques, leveraging platforms such as Salesforce, ADP, Kronos, and leveraging ATS tools like iCIMS.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring activities by collaborating with hiring managers to identify talent needs.
- Develop and execute effective lead generation strategies including cold calling and research to attract qualified candidates.
- Facilitate new employee orientation sessions, training & development programs, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Maintain strong communication with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Support employee relations initiatives by addressing onboarding questions and providing ongoing support during the initial employment period.
- Assist in refining onboarding procedures based on feedback to improve candidate experience and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or human resources management.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions effectively.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Workday, UltiPro, PeopleSoft; ATS platforms like iCIMS; and other HR tools including Salesforce, ADP, Kronos.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging candidates and collaborating across departments.
- Experience with HR sourcing strategies including research, cold calling, and lead generation techniques.
- Knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards related to onboarding processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
