Project-Based Janitorial Cleaner at Marsden South

Requirements:
You must be 18 years old

You must have work authorization

A criminal background check is required.

Experience in custodial, janitorial, or floor care work preferred

Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety procedures

Ability to lift moderate weight and stand or walk for extended periods

Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Job Duties:
As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you'll be:

Sweep, mop, and scrub restroom floors; vacuum and extract carpets as needed

Clean and disinfect restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and fixtures

Perform deep cleaning and detail cleaning of assigned areas on a scheduled basis

Empty trash receptacles and replace liners; remove recycling materials as required

Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissue in restrooms and common areas

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment

Respond to special cleaning requests, projects, or emergencies (e.g., spills or leaks)

Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure cleaning standards are met.
