The Associate Director, Programmatic owns the Advertising function on their book of clients. This includes developing overall programmatic media strategy (Display, Video, Audio, OOH), helping to grow the client's business through additional advertising channels and ensuring team execution meets and exceeds client expectations. The Programmatic group is responsible for applying highly analytical and quantitative approaches to deliver campaign performance in managing client relationships. Associate Directors are expected to employ and continually define the state-of-the-art techniques in the online marketing industry through their deep understanding of digital technologies, a passion for using data to inform creative problem solving. They must possess excellent active listening skills to understand client needs and translate those needs into campaign objectives.
Role Expectations:
- Own daily operation and master media and buying-related technologies
- Actively optimize and manage client campaigns including: strategy development, project management, and optimization log upkeep
- Communicate and liaise with our partners (technology, media, and data) to oversee the launch and ongoing execution of campaigns
- Maintain Technical understanding of planning, activation & measurement tools
- Provide strategic insight to develop long term execution plans from client's stated business objectives and implement those plans
- Ensure integration with other functional teams • Help identify and test new channels and products, highlighting results and sharing across organization and externally
- Help business development team develop and present pitches, including providing oversight and guidance to junior team members assisting with the process Confidential
- Lead and effectively manage a team of digital media specialists and facilitate each team member's development providing ongoing coaching, feedback and career growth
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of work experience; recent and proven experience in programmatic execution/planning and activation required; other digital advertising, such as search and/or social, is a plus
- Actively optimize and manage client programmatic strategy ensuring micro and macro goals are hit. This includes owner/partnership of DSP/SSP vetting and selection
- Accountable to daily programmatic team operations and campaign excellence
- Effectively manage and lead all programmatic team members
- Identify and test new programmatic channels and products, highlighting client value in results and sharing across client team and organization.
- Identify training and development needs of client team and broader functional team
- Instill best practices, processes, methodologies, and frameworks for client team and broader functional team; work with team members to ensure they are being used
- In depth knowledge of the online advertising industry including ad technology solutions; RTB, DSP's, SSP's, advertising/publisher ecosystems, data privacy

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$115,000-$120,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
