Electronic Technician – Motorsports | Hands-On | High-Performance Vehicles

Are you the kind of technician who'd rather be hands-on in the shop than stuck behind a desk? Do you enjoy building wire harnesses, troubleshooting electrical gremlins, and seeing your work come alive in high-performance vehicles?

We're a fast-moving motorsports company looking for a motivated Electronic Technician to help build, test, and maintain the electrical systems that power our race-ready machines. This is a highly practical role for someone who enjoys working with real hardware, test equipment, and automotive electrical systems in a performance-driven environment.

If you like solving problems, working closely with engineers, and seeing your work make a direct impact on vehicle performance, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

As an Electronic Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our electrical systems are reliable, race-ready, and built to perform:

  • Build, test, and validate electrical system components that support vehicle and system operation
  • Assemble, repair, and debug wire harnesses, looms, and electrical sub-assemblies
  • Troubleshoot builds and install wiring or components as needed during development and assembly
  • Create, modify, or source test equipment to support hardware validation and verification
  • Support Electrical Engineers by executing assigned tasks with strong attention to priority and deadlines
  • Research and evaluate sensors and ancillary electrical components for future vehicle systems
  • Maintain accurate tracking and organization of all electrical and electronic hardware

What We're Looking For:

You don't need decades of experience — we're looking for someone with solid fundamentals, curiosity, and pride in their work.

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with wire harness assembly and/or test equipment manufacturing
  • Experience using harness production tools and electrical test equipment
  • Familiarity with automotive electrical systems (ECUs, ignition systems, sensors, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

  • Trade school certificate or 2-year technical degree
  • Loom build and repair experience
  • Prior experience in motorsports, automotive, EV, or performance vehicle environments

Why You'll Want This Role

  • Work directly on real motorsports hardware, not just prototypes on paper
  • Be part of a tight-knit, engineering-driven team where your work matters
  • Learn from experienced electrical and hardware engineers
  • Gain exposure to advanced vehicle systems and race-focused development
  • Fast-paced environment where skill, initiative, and craftsmanship are valued

This position is a great fit if you've worked as a:

  • Electronic Technician
  • Wire Harness Technician
  • Automotive Electrical Technician
  • Test Technician
  • Motorsports or EV Technician
  • Santa Clarita, California, United States
