Who You Are

You're a calm, level-headed EMT who shows up when it matters most. Whether you're responding to an emergency or providing day-to-day support in a remote setting, people trust you to act quickly, think clearly, and treat everyone with respect. With a strong background in emergency healthcare and a steady hand under pressure, you help create a safe, supported environment where folks know they're in good hands. You value clear communication, honest work, and being part of a team that looks out for one another—because in your book, that's just the right way to do things.

Responsibilities
  • Administer emergency medical care, including respiratory, trauma, and cardiac interventions, and conduct patient assessments (e.g., drug screenings, BATs).
  • Perform recordkeeping, filing, and data entry as required, excluding treatmentrelated records.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
  • Provide information on medical treatments and procedures, promoting a culture of health and safety.
  • Measure vital signs and collect specimens
  • Document all patient interactions and care provided.
  • Monitor worker health and manage preventative care onsite.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain readiness for onsite incidents.
Requirements
  • Must be able to work 6070 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work 1012 hour shifts (rotating shifts, alternating weekends)
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
  • Ability to climb without difficulty.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces.
  • Ability to talk, hear, and taste/smell while performing job duties.
  • Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
  • Must pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
  • Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations.
  • Must have strong team collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of industryspecific safety procedures (ex: construction).
Skills and Experience
  • Strong critical thinking and decisionmaking in highpressure situations.
  • Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations).
  • Proficient in medical recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with workers and management.
  • Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under stress.
  • Experience as an Basic Life Support (BLS) provider

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate or equivalent
  • Driver's license
  • Texas EMT License
Preferred certifications and licenses
  • NREMT License (required without a TX license)

Compensation Transparency

The hourly wage rage for this position is $23 - $25. In addition to base pay, HV Health and Safety offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, continuing education support, and more. We believe in fair and transparent compensation and are happy to discuss specific details during the interview process.
