Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at a fast pace Tabacco store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively. A passion for sales and upselling products is highly valued. Bilingual Spanish is required. 21+ is required

Duties

• Operate the cash register, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure a well-organized shopping experience.
• Promote special offers and upsell products to enhance the shopping experience for customers.
• Conduct product demos as needed to educate customers about new items or promotions.
• Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Five years Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role, preferably in a grocery store setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Sales-oriented mindset with experience in upselling products preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
