Overview
Join the Holiday Inn Express team as a Front Desk Agent, where friendly service, efficiency, and consistency are key to delivering the "Stay Smart" experience our guests expect. In this role, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a positive and comfortable stay. You will provide attentive service while managing front desk operations accurately and efficiently, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, respected, and well cared for throughout their visit.
This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering excellent guest service, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and understand the importance of brand standards and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests promptly and professionally, creating a positive first impression aligned with Holiday Inn Express brand standards
- Perform guest check-in and check-out efficiently using hotel property management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns in a courteous and timely manner, escalating issues when appropriate
- Maintain accurate guest reservations, profiles, and billing records in compliance with hotel and IHG procedures
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest needs are addressed quickly
- Complete night audit duties when scheduled, including balancing daily transactions and preparing required reports
- Promote hotel amenities, IHG One Rewards, and local area information to enhance the guest experience
- Follow all safety, security, and brand compliance standards at the front desk
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous front desk or hotel hospitality experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly, and service-oriented attitude
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems and basic front office procedures
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with night audit and cash handling preferred
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to upholding Holiday Inn Express brand standards
