Part-Time Janitorial Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to join our team. This position involves various tasks related to custodial duties, floor care, and general maintenance of an office environment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.

This is a part-time position with evening shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors to maintain a clean environment.
• Conduct custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, replenishing paper and soap products, and maintaining common areas.
• Assist in facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Support cleaning efforts by using appropriate techniques and equipment for larger areas or specialized tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
• Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a safe working environment.
