Position Summary
The General Labor position supports the overall operations of Isaiah House by assisting with various facility tasks, deliveries, and maintenance projects across multiple sites. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks such as deliveries, cleanup, repairs, and project support at all Isaiah House locations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe and clean condition.
• Communicate material needs in advance and complete purchase orders proactively.
• Follow supervisor instructions, maintain a clean and organized job site, and ensure all work meets Isaiah House's quality standards.
• Drive light or medium-duty trucks and tow trailers for deliveries (training available if needed).
• Provide support in remodeling tasks including drywall repair, basic plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ensure all work is performed in proper uniform or attire and in accordance with safety policies.

Requirements
Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team-focused environment.
• Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in remodeling or facility maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform basic drywall, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to drive and tow trailers (or willingness to learn).

• Complete assigned work efficiently and to standard

• Ensure all deliveries are delivered completely and in a timely manner

• Retrieve purchase orders in a timely manner

Mandatory Requirements

• Adhere to all Isaiah House policies and procedures
• Attend mandatory in-service trainings and required educational programs

• Adherence to material budgets and cost controls
• Project and task completion within expected timelines
• Reduction in last-minute material purchases
• Low number of call backs due to incomplete or substandard work
