Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year

About the Role

A growing manufacturing and engineering organization is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to ensure its network infrastructure, services, and security systems operate efficiently and reliably. This role is fully on-site and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment and enjoys supporting multiple departments—including operations, engineering, and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues related to connectivity, latency, bandwidth, and security incidents.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement and maintain network security measures including VPNs and firewall rules.
• Support CNC program transfers (SuiteFactory and MasterCam) across manufacturing environments.
• Work closely with internal teams across operations, engineering, sales, and office staff.
• Assist remote manufacturing sites with network-related issues and support needs.
• Administer hypervisors and Windows Server environments (Hybrid or Azure).
• Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and operating procedures.
• Generate logs, reports, and KPIs related to network performance, usage, and incidents.
• Provide flexible availability for occasional off-hours support.

Requirements

• CompTIA A+ certified.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification.
• 3–5 years of network operations experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience with Windows Server (Hybrid or Azure environments).
• Must have experience handling CNC program transfers using SuiteFactory and MasterCam.
• Hypervisor administration experience.
• Comfortable supporting remote manufacturing sites.
• Prior experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
