Float Teacher

Job Description:

As a Float Teacher, you will have the flexibility to support various classrooms and age groups within our center. Your role will be essential in providing continuity of care and education when regular teachers are absent, need additional assistance or taking their breaks. The ideal candidate will thrive in varied environment, showcasing adaptability, a love for children, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in various classrooms, including infant, toddler, preschool, pre-k rooms

• Implement and support age-appropriate activities and curriculum plans

• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children

-Build rapport with children, parents, and staff with children, parents and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment

• Maintain classroom/center organization and cleanliness

-Adhere to all center policies and state guidelines

Qualifications:

• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments

• Able to follow and maintain a schedule

-CPR/First Aid certified

-Understanding of child development

• Strong communication skills

• Previous experience working with children in a licensed facility

• Cleared Federal background check

Pay: $ $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
