Kennel Care Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service to pet owners. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of the animals in our care while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Duties

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, and exercising pets.
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and other facilities to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management.
• Assist with animal restraint during grooming or veterinary procedures as needed.
• Engage with pet owners, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Support dog training initiatives by reinforcing basic commands and positive behaviors.
• Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger animals.
• Document daily activities and observations regarding the animals in your care.

Experience

• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members.
• Familiarity with dog handling and knowledge of pet.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is essential for success in this role.
