Pest Control Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, treating, and managing pest issues for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in pest control, lawn care, and related fields, with the ability to apply various tools and equipment safely and effectively. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points
• Apply appropriate pest control treatments using sprays, baits, traps, and other methods
• Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and ongoing maintenance
• Maintain detailed records of treatments performed and client interactions
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for treatment applications
• Assist with lawn care, landscaping, or agricultural tasks when required
• Drive company vehicle to various job sites following safety protocols
• Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with industry standards and regulations

Experience

• Prior experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or similar equipment is advantageous
• Sales experience or ability to educate clients about services is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
• Ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently
• Willingness to learn about pest management techniques and safety procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
