Breakfast Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours. The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving all food items while displaying an appealing and appetizing breakfast buffet for our guests in accordance with Marriott standards. Our breakfast attendants are also responsible for overseeing and ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation compliance, and food safety procedures in the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display all breakfast buffet items according to Marriott standards during each shift.
• Complete necessary food prep prior to the opening of breakfast in order to ensure that guests are served promptly upon arrival.
• Maintain a high standard of service-oriented demeanor with all guests at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and hotel storage areas.
• Operate and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and maintain a Clean As You Go Policy.
• Breakdown breakfast and kitchen area; storing food and equipment properly at the end of service.
• Manage the storage and rotation of food items according to hotel policy and procedure.
• Attend meetings as required by management.

Preferences

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Experience serving and or preparing food preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively.
