Food Runner

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner/Table Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced casual restaurant environment. The Food Runner/Table Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately and that our dining area remains clean and organized, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position also requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of food safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with all other staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in orders.
• Bussing tables and cleaning and resetting them for new guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing plates and utensils promptly.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure all orders are prepared correctly and meet food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to enhance guest services and satisfaction.
• Ensuring all food service areas are well-stocked and organized.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to any requests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being proactive in addressing guest needs.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 10am to 3:30pm with flexibility to work until 7:30pm

**We are not open weekends or major holidays.

** In addition to the hourly wage, tips are earned based on hours worked and are pooled amongst all staff. (**tips currently average $6.50 per hour worked**)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
