Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage guest seating, handle reservations, and ensure smooth flow within the restaurant or hospitality environment. Your friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask will help foster a warm atmosphere that keeps guests excited to return. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with enthusiasm and professionalism, setting a positive tone for their visit
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or services
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate seating arrangements and guest needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with courteous phone etiquette and provide accurate information about wait times or reservations
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring every guest feels valued

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Host or in a similar customer service role within food service or hospitality environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Experience in food service, serving, or hotel guest services is highly desirable
• Excellent phone etiquette and guest relation skills to handle inquiries smoothly
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services and restaurant operations, is a plus
