Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Athletic Trainer, where you will play a vital role in promoting athlete health, preventing injuries, and supporting recovery processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with athletes across various sports and activity levels, applying your expertise in sports medicine, physiology, and body mechanics. Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate athlete injuries using your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention strategies tailored to individual athletes, emphasizing proper body mechanics and nutrition.
  • Provide immediate care for acute injuries during practices or competitions, including first aid and emergency response coordination.
  • Design personalized rehabilitation programs that incorporate sports medicine principles, personal training techniques, and body mechanics to facilitate safe return to activity.
  • Educate athletes on injury prevention, proper training techniques, nutrition, and overall health practices to optimize performance and reduce risk.
  • Maintain detailed medical records of athlete assessments, treatments, and progress while ensuring compliance with relevant health regulations.
  • Collaborate with coaches, medical professionals, and sports scientists to create a holistic approach to athlete health and performance enhancement.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sports medicine, and medical terminology essential for accurate injury assessment and treatment.
  • Experience in health coaching, personal training, or related fields that support athlete wellness initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of body mechanics and nutrition principles relevant to athletic performance.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate athletes on injury prevention and health maintenance strategies.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with a proactive attitude toward injury management and athlete support.
  • Certification as an Athletic Trainer or equivalent credential is preferred; relevant certifications in first aid or emergency response are a plus.
