We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated Millwork Project Manager to join our team and manage the successful execution of complex projects from concept through completion.

Position Overview:
The Millwork Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of millwork projects, ensuring the highest level of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors, managing budgets, timelines, and resources, and leading teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination:
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Work closely with designers, architects, and clients to ensure all millwork requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Project Execution & Supervision:
  • Oversee daily operations of millwork projects, including site visits and inspections.
  • Ensure quality standards are adhered to throughout the production and installation processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise on the job site.
  • Budget & Financial Management:
  • Create, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring profitability and efficient use of resources.
  • Track project expenses, prepare cost estimates, and approve invoices.
  • Ensure projects stay within financial constraints without compromising quality.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including field crews, craftsmen, and subcontractors.
  • Foster a positive working environment and ensure clear communication between all parties.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align project objectives with business goals.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage client relationships to build trust and secure future business.
  • Quality Control & Safety Compliance:
  • Enforce strict adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and industry regulations.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure it meets design specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in millwork project management, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex millwork projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of millwork processes, materials, and craftsmanship.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capability to manage diverse teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of millwork industry standards, trends, and regulations.
