Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Machine Operator, Equipment Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance will be essential in ensuring smooth production flows. Responsibilities

• Operate a range of manufacturing equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming tools to produce components according to specifications.
• Set up machinery using technical drawings, blueprints, CAD files, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Perform routine inspections and measurements using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and perform minor repairs or adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with loading/unloading and inventory management within the manufacturing facility.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while operating equipment such as welding tools, stamping presses, and fabrication machinery.
• Document production data accurately and communicate effectively with team members regarding machine status or quality concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses within a factory or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical schematics.
• Familiarity with CNC programming (Fanuc controls preferred), CAM programming, and basic CNC troubleshooting techniques.
• Competency in using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality control purposes.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles for proper interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Experience with fabrication processes including welding, tooling setup, assembly line operations, and materials handling.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong safety awareness; factory or warehouse experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus for understanding design specifications.
