Pay:$ $25.50 per hour, based on experience

Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) Supervisor Summary:
The Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating direct resident care performed by Certified Nurse Assistants (C.N.A.) employed by the facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct supervision of all CNA floor staff to ensure appropriate care is being provided
- Manage Overtime effectively daily
- Completion of, or assistance with all CNA Daily assignments sheets, such as: hall assignment, water, vitals, assisted dining, snack cart, hall trays
- Oversee New Hire Training and orientation with all CNA New Hires conducted by Preceptor
- Assist with finding coverage for open shifts
- Work Open shifts as needed
- Coordinate all aspects of resident care ie: showers, nail care, grooming, hygiene, toileting, weights, etc.
- Communicate and advocate problem solving as need arise
- Conducting and completing all needed in-servicing and education as needed
- Daily Auditing of all POC documentation to ensure completion for all shifts
- Recognize/report any reported or noted changes in condition to nursing staff
- Coordination of daily, weekly and monthly weights, ensuring that all are obtained and entered within the appropriate timeframe.
- Assisting activities of daily living (turning and positioning, toileting and elimination, assistive devices, safety and cleanliness, bathing and grooming, feeding, maintaining mobility, nutrition and hydration, reporting abnormal signs and symptoms, data gathering, patient socialization and reality orientation, end-of-life care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency care, postmortem care, residents rights, documentation of nursing-assistant services, and other tasks that a CNA may perform)
- Obtains and records vital signs and weight as assigned as needed.
- Changing bed clothes and collecting soiled laundry as needed.
- Light cleaning and organizing of patient's room or personal belongings ensuring
- Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
- Protects organization's value by keeping patient information confidential.
- Serves and protects the facility by adhering to professional standards, company policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and standards.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Qualifications
- Successful completion of State-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.
- CPR Certified
