Dishwasher - PT

We are seeking motivated team members to join our team The dishwashing area is the heart of the kitchen and key to the restaurant success. This position is responsible for working in coordination with our kitchen and wait staff to ensure a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, glassware as well as cooking utensils, pots, and pans.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Arrives to work in full dress guidelines, looking professional
• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand
• Operates dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications
• Uses proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine
• Removes all garbage including bags, cardboard boxes and misc. trash
• Sweeps and scrubs the floor
• Maintains and clean and organized kitchen and dish area
• Other duties as directed by Executive or Sous Chef
• May assist in the unloading of delivery trucks
• Follow safety and sanitation policy at all times

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
• Must be able to work independently
