Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Oversee food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reporting.
- Train, develop, and motivate team members through effective staff training programs and ongoing performance evaluations.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while controlling labor costs.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere by delivering outstanding customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining restaurants; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management principles.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills in team management, interviewing, training & development.
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and food management practices; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Excellent leadership abilities combined with effective communication skills to motivate staff and enhance team performance.
- Background in hospitality management, including budgeting, food safety protocols, and food production oversight.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage restaurant operations efficiently during shifts. Pay: $47, $60,000.00 per year
