- Schedule and assign local delivery couriers based on daily orders, routes, priorities, and time-sensitive requirements
- Communicate with couriers via phone, email, or dispatch software to confirm pickups, provide instructions, and resolve any immediate issues
- Monitor delivery progress, track statuses in real-time, and update internal systems or customers as needed
- Assist the primary dispatcher with day-to-day tasks, including data entry, updating logs, handling overflow communications, and troubleshooting delivery-related inquiries
- Help prioritize and organize incoming requests to ensure smooth workflow and on-time performance
- Perform any additional support duties as required by the dispatcher or logistics team
- Assist in kitting print materials: assemble, package, label, and organize orders to ensure they are ready for delivery (e.g., collating documents, binding, inserting into envelopes/boxes)
- Verify order accuracy against pick lists or client specifications before final packing
- Maintain a clean and organized kitting/prep area
- Use computer systems and software for order tracking, scheduling, reporting, and communication (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or logistics/dispatch tools)
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, deliveries, and kitted orders
- Contribute to team efforts in meeting daily targets and improving processes
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is an asset but not required)
- Strong computer skills – proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook), email, and basic data entry; quick learner for new software/tools
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) for coordinating with couriers, team members, and occasionally clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physically capable of occasional lifting up to 60 lbs. and standing/moving for parts of the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Valid driver's license is an asset (though not required for this role)
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, customer service, dispatch, or print/production is a plus, but we welcome motivated beginners with the right mindset
