Your Opportunity
Stantec has an opportunity for an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our Environmental Services team in our Waterloo office. Consideration would be given to other Ontario offices, including Ottawa, Ontario. As an Intermediate Hydrogeologist, you will play a key role in a wide variety of physical hydrogeology projects, which may include water supply studies, hydrogeologic assessments, dewatering studies, and supporting mining projects and permitting.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications, and presentations
- Ability to meet a strong demand for high-quality, organized and consistent results
- Ability to work under little supervision and work well with others to achieve group success
- Ability to work on several projects or tasks during any given day consistently
- Recognized for your high level of technical skills and practical ability to solve problems in various settings
- Must be able to manage time, be organized, and set priorities
- Maintain a disciplined approach to project execution and technical excellence
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions
- Participate in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Policies, Procedures, Standards, and Guidelines in the execution of all work
- Familiarity with local practices and markets as well as entry-level project management skills are considered an asset
- A valid G driver's license is required
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
