Job Overview

We have an immediate opening for LITIGATION PARALEGAL to join our team. This position plays a critical role in the firm's success, and the right fit to join our team is an energetic, reliable team player who is extremely detail-oriented, organized, and has a real passion for personal injury law.

Job Requirements

• 2 years of personal injury experience
• 2 years of paralegal experience.
• Experience and knowledge of drafting motions.
• Experience and knowledge with E-file and service of pleadings.
• Experience and knowledge assisting with trial and hearing preparations.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and co-workers.
• Knowledgeable and understanding of how to review medical & loss wages.
• Maintenance of the docket calendar.
• Draft and issue discovery and disclosures to counsel.
• Obtain medical/billing records in all cases, prepare medical briefs and maintain index of records sent to experts, updating throughout proceedings.
• Review and approve written deposition notices for issuance.
• Hire various experts and coordinate their involvement in case: medical billing auditors, medical experts, life care planners, economists, and vocation experts.
• Issue and process client document/witness requests for attorney meetings.
• Schedule depositions, maintain case calendars, and follow up with court reporters.
• Conduct background checks and social media searches on Defendants.
• Order police records and body cam footage for auto accident cases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish speaker preferred.

Salary Commensurate with experience. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and certification.

Job Type:
 Full-time.

Pay Range:
 $ $36.00 per hour.
