Job Summary
As a Payroll Analyst, you'll drive seamless payroll operations by ensuring every pay cycle is accurate, timely, and aligned with all regulatory requirements. You'll collaborate closely with Human Resources and Finance to resolve payroll matters, streamline processes, and support projects that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

This dynamic role also gives you the opportunity to step in as needed to support the Sales Compensation Manager, contributing to commissions, incentive plans, and compensation design that help drive our organizational success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field of study, and a minimum of 2 years related experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel plus prior working experience processing payroll in a dedicated payroll system.
  • Deep understanding of federal and state payroll compliance requirements.

Essential Duties

  • Payroll Processing & Accuracy: Take ownership of end-to-end payroll, ensuring every paycheck, bonus, and benefit is handled accurately and on time.
  • Records, Reporting & Reconciliation: Keep payroll records precise, generate insightful reports, and reconcile payroll with the general ledger to support smooth financial operations.
  • Compliance & Audits: Be the guardian of payroll compliance, navigating federal, state, and local regulations; manage state withholding and unemployment accounts; and provide documentation for audits.
  • Process Improvement & Special Programs: Drive efficiency by documenting procedures, leading payroll projects, and managing specialized programs such as Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) automobile payments through Motus.
  • Sales Compensation Support: As needed, serve as backup to the Sales Compensation Manager, assisting with commissions, incentive plans, compensation letters, and analytical support for plan enhancements.
