• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care techniques and behavioral health strategies
• Assist in clinical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, and aseptic techniques in various settings including ICU, emergency medicine, or surgical units
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and practicing proper hygiene standards in aseptic technique practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, post-acute settings, or outpatient clinics to deliver comprehensive patient service and support recovery goals

Skills

• Proven experience working with people with disabilities, developmental delays, or behavioral health needs
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation
• Strong understanding of infection control practices including aseptic technique and infectious disease care protocols
• Ability to perform patient assessments by monitoring vital signs and recognizing abnormal conditions promptly
• Experience in geriatrics, hospice care, or long-term care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living communities
