Sales Representative Details: Contract to Hire position $ 35.00 / hour First Shift (Monday through Friday) The Sales Representative will drive new business growth and support existing customer relationships within a wide range of industries including aerospace, medical equipment, food & beverage and automotive sectors. Understand contract manufacturing, assembly, machining, and supply chain. Not just "sales"
they need to know how customers think about outsourcing, cost, lead time, and quality. Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, defense contractors, and related manufacturing partners. Work closely with operations, engineering, and leadership to build trust with customers Conduct outbound prospecting including calls, emails, trade show outreach, and networking. Qualify prospects by understanding machine needs, tolerances, materials, certifications, and production volumes. Prepare accurate quotes and proposals and maintain communication with customers regarding schedules and updates. Coordinate with internal teams to align customer needs with production capabilities. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Sales Representative Qualifications: 3 years of experience in sales, account development, or manufacturing sales in the aerospace, medical equipment, food & beverage and automotive sectors and a track record of reaching and influencing decision-makers (VP Ops, Director of Supply Chain, CEOs of smaller OEMs). Experience managing long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and "land-and-expand" strategies. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Existing contacts in manufacturing networks.
