Food Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality settings is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed descriptions of menu items when needed
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation practices
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe dining environment
• Support host/host duties when required, including seating guests and managing waitlists

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining experience is required.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales performance
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills
• Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Vietnamese is a plus.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
