Lead Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. You will play a key role in maintaining the bar area and adhering to all safety and health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with ordering.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently to maintain a positive environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar at all times.
• Adhere to health codes and standards.
• Be prompt.
• Following our opening and closing checklist.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume establishment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and mixology principles.
• Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
