Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth transactions and cash handling.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Serve food items promptly and professionally in both fine dining and casual settings, including banquet events and nightclubs.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and organization skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, following proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with catering events or banquets as needed, ensuring seamless service from setup to cleanup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a server or bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality environment; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and cash handling.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and verifying bills accurately.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Previous experience working with food industry tools like serving trays, brewing equipment (if applicable), or retail math is a plus.
