Basic Functions & Scope

• Serve as the first point of contact for guests at Lemaire, setting the tone for a luxury dining experience.
• Manage reservations, seating, and guest flow using OpenTable or similar systems.
• Communicate clearly with servers and management to ensure seamless service and timely table turns.
• Provide accurate information about the menu, specials, and restaurant offerings.
• Maintain the appearance and readiness of the host stand, entrance, and surrounding areas.
• Assist with guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism and warmth.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a polished, welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservation and waitlist systems to maximize guest satisfaction and efficiency.
• Monitor dining room flow and coordinate with the service team for smooth operations.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings and The Jefferson Hotel's amenities to assist guests.
• Ensure the entrance and host areas remain organized, clean, and inviting.
• Support the dining room team as needed to deliver an elevated guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, professional personality.
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and behavior.
