Food Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Experience in fine dining or the food industry is preferred, along with proficiency in various POS systems and food safety standards.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Provide guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
• Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours
• Excellent customer service and guest relations skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary
• Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and enhance guest experience through excellent service
