Job Summary
As an Activity Assistant, you will develop and lead engaging programs that promote socialization, physical wellness, and personal growth for residents in our Assisted Living Facility. Your work will make a meaningful impact by enhancing the daily lives of our residents and fostering a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities

• Activity Programming:

• Organize and lead activities that encourage social interaction, skill-building, and leisure. Examples include:

• Socialization: Group discussions, current events, arts & crafts, bingo, and music sessions.

• Daily Living Skills: Building walks, snacks, and meal outings.
• Physical Wellness: Games, dancing, exercise, and coordination activities.
• Leisure Time: Gardening, card games, bowling, and movie matinees.

• Education: Safety lectures, bible study, and travel presentations.

• Community Engagement:

• Facilitate resident participation in local events, worship services, concerts, and community group activities.

• Resident Choice:

• Empower residents to explore and engage in activities of their choice.

• Administrative Support:

• Serve as a backup to the receptionist when needed, ensuring seamless operations.

What We Require

• Compassion, creativity, and dedication to enriching the lives of seniors.
• Live-Scan Fingerprint Clearance.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Negative TB Test and Health Screening Clearance.

Available Shifts

• AM Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Tuesday to Saturday)
