Our distribution center in Provo, Utah, is seeking a motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will manage the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all shipping and receiving processes. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying shipments, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining inventory records. This position is critical to our logistics operations and requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, inspecting for damages and discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Process outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our system.
- Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving areas for efficiency and safety.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, internal departments, and supervisors.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- May involve regular Lifting of packages and materials up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking. Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial. Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting. Commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures is essential.
