Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming goods, verify quantities and quality, and store them appropriately.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required or provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Support team members in achieving daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Ability to handle lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE is essential.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
