In this role, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from our warehouse shelves, ensuring that every order is picked correctly. Your attention to detail and speed are critical to our operations and customer satisfaction. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing technology and following procedures to maintain high levels of productivity. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Ensure items are handled carefully to prevent damage during picking.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is a strong asset.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must be capable of regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of and adherence to Safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
Physical Demands:
This position requires constant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required on a regular basis. Employees must wear appropriate PPE to ensure their Safety. The work environment is a typical warehouse setting and may involve varying temperatures.
