Join our fast-paced logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to accurately pick customer orders and prepare them for shipment. Your role will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, verifying quantities, and packaging them securely for transit. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount in this dynamic role.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack orders securely using appropriate materials and methods.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Use handheld scanners to track inventory movement and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets accurately.
- Familiarity with warehouse environments and basic logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, up to 35 lbs.
- Understanding of safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
