Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to manage our warehouse stock in Houston, Texas. This position is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly. You will be responsible for receiving, counting, organizing, and tracking inventory items. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality against manifests.
  • Accurately count and record all incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain the inventory management system, ensuring all data is up-to-date.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, movements, and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inventory items.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Assist with order picking and packing as needed to support logistics flow.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software or systems.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform regular lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills.
