We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all logistics processes. You will manage a team of warehouse staff, coordinate activities, and ensure that operational goals are met. A strong understanding of warehouse management, inventory control, and team leadership is essential for success in this position. Your guidance will shape the effectiveness of our entire logistics operation.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Train new team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Enforce all safety regulations and ensure compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.
- Manage the scheduling and workflow of the warehouse team to meet productivity targets.
- Optimize space utilization and maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and external partners regarding logistics matters.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and experience enforcing them.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings.
