Your primary duties will include selecting items from warehouse inventory based on order forms, carefully packing these items to prevent damage during transit, and preparing them for shipment. This role is critical to our supply chain operations and requires precision and speed. You will be actively involved in warehouse tasks, which include regular lifting and moving of goods. A strong commitment to safety is essential; you must rigorously follow all safety protocols and always wear the appropriate PPE. The ideal candidate is organized, works well under pressure, and has excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick merchandise from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Consistently use all required PPE.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Support inventory management through accurate picking and reporting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Strong commitment to safety and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
