Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular audits.
- Enforce all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Manage the scheduling and allocation of staff to meet operational demands.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and employee grievances.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management principles and logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory control and management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to enforce safety protocols and ensure the proper use of PPE.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Ability to manage a team and foster a positive work environment.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Must be able to handle the physical demands of the role, including occasional lifting.
