Join our fast-paced warehouse environment as a Picker/Packer in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is central to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately selected and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory shelves based on order forms, inspecting items for quality, and then packing them securely for delivery. A meticulous approach to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to Safety are essential qualities for success. This position requires you to be on your feet for extended periods and involves tasks requiring moderate Lifting. You'll be an integral part of our logistics team, directly impacting customer satisfaction through accurate and timely order processing. We provide a supportive work culture and opportunities to learn different aspects of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses good manual dexterity, and can work effectively in a team. Consistent use of provided PPE is required.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and the willingness to use PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics operations.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role and meet productivity targets.
