We are looking for a diligent and meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our logistics hub in Baltimore, Maryland. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse operations by maintaining precise inventory records. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, and distributing materials, as well as performing regular audits to maintain data integrity. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding safety standards. You will be an essential part of our supply chain, ensuring that products are accounted for accurately from arrival to departure. This role involves working closely with other warehouse associates to support seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately record inventory data in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct cycle counts and periodic physical inventories to reconcile stock.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damages to inventory.
- Assist with picking and packing orders as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring product availability.
- Prepare inventory reports and communicate findings to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with WMS or similar inventory tracking software.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity and manual labor, including Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of general warehouse operations and logistics.
