We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse in Austin, Texas. This role is essential for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our facility, playing a key part in our overall logistics network. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to transport, stack, load, and unload inventory, conducting daily equipment inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Your duties will also include assisting with inventory management, order picking, and ensuring all Safety protocols are followed. A strong commitment to Safety, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to all operational guidelines, is non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into warehouse racking.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts, reporting any defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting and put-away.
- Follow all Safety procedures and regulations diligently.
- Wear all required PPE at all times while performing duties.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and efficient logistics.
- Identify and report any safety concerns or operational issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified and experienced Forklift Operator.
- Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and procedures.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as Lifting and moving items.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Committed to adhering to all Safety protocols and wearing PPE.
