We are seeking an experienced Material Handler for our Fort Worth, Texas facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will encompass receiving, identifying, staging, and dispatching various materials. This includes operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring that all materials are stored correctly and accessible. A strong emphasis on Safety, proper handling techniques, and adherence to operational procedures is essential. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE and follow all company safety guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage locations.
- Move materials to and from production areas, storage areas, and shipping docks.
- Identify materials and ensure they are properly stored and labeled.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
- Follow all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification (preferred).
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting tasks.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
- Strong understanding of material handling equipment operation.
- Good physical condition and coordination.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
- Commitment to Safety and wearing all required PPE.
